Why "Rath Changeling?"

(Webster's New Universal Unabridged Dictionary, 2nd edition:) rath, n [Ir. rath, a hill, mount, or fortress.] in ancient Ireland, an earthwork or fortification.

(From Changeling 2nd edition, pg. 224:) "'Rath' is the Irish name for circular earthworks left by the fae; even humans know these are gateways into the faerie lands..." "A rath may be any kind of portal that is large enough for a changeling to pass through..."

Ergo, this particular portal on the web is Rath Changeling.

My endeavor here is to create and update a comprehensive portal for all Changeling fansites on the web, and to also (on this site) include links to any resources which may be of use to Changeling storytellers and players.

Why the change from The Faerie Ring?
