Work experience

The first job I got after school in 1989 was driving moped delivering stuff for a company that made copies of building drawings and other large pictures. My job was to get the original pictures from the client and then return the original with the new copies. It was a cold job during winter.
When I got my drivers license in 1990 I continued working for the same company for a year, now driving car which was much nicer job than the previous one.
After this interesting job it was time for studies again.

Five days to go
In 1993 I got tired of studying and joined the army. I went to the boarder guard troops, a kind of a special training in Finland.
After the training I was a group leader of special troops. Maybe I could have stayed in the army but I wanted something where I could use my brain also.
In 1994 I was a trainee in an advertising agency for two months. I saw many interesting things about advertising and learned about making advertisements. It was really interesting and I liked it. I was planning to become a graphic designer, but I had missed the date for applying to schools that year. I decided to get a studying place anyway and after the summer I started to study technical drawing using Auto-CAD programs. It was not what I had expected or hoped for, I wanted something more creative. I did design and manufacture a computer desk take a look at the pic1and pic2 of the project.

I'v done some short periods of work during summers like building a house, designing some web-stuff, growing flowers or looking after children, these have lasted from one week to a month or so.
In 1997 I was a trainee for two months in an engineering company that designed large machines using Auto-CAD.
In 1998 I made a advertising banner for a firm and worked for Nokia doing some file copying with Excel.

During The summer 1999 I was doing some file converting to the Sap-program for two months.

In the late 1999 I started to work as an sub-contractor for Nokia and in June 2000 I became an employee for Nokia Mobile Phones. I made intranet pages for the SW Applications group, and this job lasted till the end of summer 2000. The job at Nokia has been clearly the best place I'v ever worked and has formed a picture in my mind of possible future jobs I'm interested in.

I would like my future job to be something creative where I could use my imagination and my talents and maybe get to travel. Internet, graphic designing and programming are things that I'm interested in and I hope I can do things that have something to do with them one day.
