GAME SYSTEMS: There are many published game systems out there. The rules, setting, character creation and everything else has already been set up. Many of these games come with not only regular player's guides, but supplement upon supplement. While systems are a fun and exciting form of RP, and many online games have been created using them as a basis for their setting, it can be confusing for a newbie, who is unfamiliar with RP in general. Personally, I find that a little free form gaming is the best way to learn about RP before you jump into trying to learn a system. If you are curious however, I've included short descriptions here of some of the more popular game systems**.
