She has dark brown hair, brown eyes and a warm smile. However, in her Changeling form she has two horns and furry legs (duh) which can carry her great distances. Personality: Warm and friendly to anyone in need, Winter is the perfect friend. She does, however, have a bad temper (worse than normal for Satyrs) and has a habbit of throwing things when she's angry. She will always be there if someone needs advice or just a shoulder to cry on, and will try her best to cheer them up. Background: Winter had a normal childhood, if you could call growing up white in a predominantly black area of downtown NY normal. She escaped her homelife, which was sometimes tumultious, by daydreaming about other places and playing as though she were a great knight rescuing townsfolk and villagers. Her parents began to worry when she did this constantly, and seemed to thinks he really DID see dragons and other creatures. So, for a few years Winter went though therapy, where she learned not to tell people about what she saw in those brief flickers of enchantment and that she was indeed different, and special. When she was 10 Winter suddenly went into Chrysalis, and was fostered by a kindly old Satyr by the name of Duncan. Duncan taught her everything she knows about parties and having fun, and to this day she remembers him fondly. One evening when she was 13 years old, her family (her REAL family) went out to eat. THe evening started out wonderfully, with jokes and chatter about different things, and plenty of Chimerical things for Winter to look at. However, it took a terrible turn when the restaurant that they were in became the target of a robbery. THe criminals decided to lay waste to the people within the room, and all of Winter's family was killed. SHe alone escaped because of her size and speed (she ran behind a large table that had fallen over and crouched down). To this day she refuses to settle down in mortal society because of the violence. This does not, however, mean she feels that mortals are beneath her, just that they need quite a bit of guidance. When she was 15, she met up with a young man by the name of Christopher. He was a Shide of House Fiona, one of the first noble's Winter had ever met. They struck up a strange friendship, but it lasted because of Chris' boastful ways and antics. During one of their adventures she practically saved Chris' life, and he told it that way to his court. That was when Winter found out Chris was more than just a normal noble, he was a Lord. After being knighted and put under Chris' service she began to change, personality wise. She became more feudal in the way she viewed society and now lives only for her orders and the occasional party (although they don't happen for her much, considering her loyalties to her Lord). Of course, she still retains her bawdy sense of humour, and tends to taunt enemies with it on the battlefield. She also continues to play her violin whenever possible, hoping it will bring people happiness and calm their spirits. Afterthought (Sorry, forgot to stick this in): Winter plays the violin. Celtic style. She can strike up a happy tune with the best of them and enjoys dancing to various jigs. I kinda figured since she was a satyr she wouldn't need to put anything in instrument. But if you like I'll move my riding dots to instrument. Spree and Her Other Chimerical Things: When Winter went through her Chrysalis her Chimerical companion and "Guardian Thingy" Spree popped into being. He was a semblance of all her pent up imagination, and he became her best friend quite fast. Along with Spree Winter discovered she had been given light armour and a battle axe (as well as a forest green tunic) for her viole, indicating she was some kind of warrior. He stands at just about 4" tall and has a knack for rabble rousing with Satyrs (which is a good thing, considering who is creator is). He enjoys playing tricks on people and helping Winter whenever he can. He also has a distinct affinity for wine (he hiccups a LOT when he's drunk). He reads a great deal when Winter is doing other htings, and enjoys fiction and folk lore above all else. He has been known to fool around with Childings whenever he gets bored, and makes up for at least 50% of the trouble they get into.
