Timeline

Here's a little timeline, compliments of Frosty_mugged, who plays Drop Zone. I'll be adding on to it as this PBeM develops. These events are basically a continuation of the comic book series, and onlt the noteworthy events are listed. Here, the GIJoes never disbanded and every GIJoe action figure created exists here...even if they never appeared in the comic with the exception of any of the aliens from the Star Brigade line. If you don't have these comics, I'd advise you to get a few. From the few I have, I can see its a VERY good comic.

-Firefly is confronted by some Red Ninjas and thats the last time he is seen.

-Eco Warriors disbanded. All members reintigrate as regular Joe operatives.

-The Fridge, who for some time has been rapidly deteriorating out of shape resigns as GI Joe Physical Training Instructor. Replacements for this position are several different famous athletes. This position soon is regarded as a mere publicity feature, which is mocked by some of the more serious Joes. This last for about six months before new recruit 'Rush' takes over the position full time.

-Flint and Lady Jaye wed.

--Rampart makes it through officers school and becomes an Ensign in the Navy.

-Battleforce 2000 member Avalanche resurfaces as a Cobra operative, leading a pack of Snow Serpents and apparently having survived the Battle of Benzheen. The hows and whys of this are still unknown.

-Effects leaves the GIJoes to resume his career as a Hollywood stuntman.

-After eliminating every last Mega-Monster and capturing Doctor Mindbender, the Mega Marines disband and reintigrate as regular GIJoe operatives.

-Sgt. Slaughter, Snow Job and Repeater go into retirement.

-On a mission transporting a U.S. Senator who was wanted by Cobra and his family, a Sky Patrol ship is shot down by a group of Flak-Vipers led by Scrap Iron. Airborne(second version) sacrifices his life, handing over the last available parachute to the senator, rather than himself. Sky Patrol members Skydive and Airwave leave the Joes after this, while Drop Zone, Altitude and Static Line integrate as regular Joe operatives.

-Hawk assigns Flash as the leader of a GIJoe 'Laser Squad' which also includes Sci-Fi, Mirage, Grand Slam, Dodger and new recruit 'Red-Line'.

-Keel-Haul suffers a non lethal heart attack. Rampart takes over for him as interim commander of the U.S.S Flagg until he recovers.

-During a clash between Joe ninja operatives and Night Creeper Leader, Slice, Dice and a batallion of Night Creepers...GIJoes Bushido, T'gin-Zu and Dojo perish. Dice's arm is severed and he is captured by the GIJoes. Storm Shadow vows revenge for the loss of his allies.

-Due to government cutbacks, the Star Brigade is dwindled down to a select few. Payload, Countdown, Space Shot and Ozone remain in space as the units only members.

-On the Laser Squad's second mission Red-Line dies in battle with a group of Laser Vipers. Grand Slam leaves the Laser Squad, and Hardtop and Rapid Fire join the group in place of the departed members.

-During a Zartan-led Dreadknocks assault on a GIJoe Base in Colorado designed to retrieve captured Cobra agents, three Joes and one Dreadnock die. Major Altitude is gunned down by Zartan. Armadillo is killed at the hands of a small explosion detonated by Monkeywrench...who accidentally kills himself during the triggering of the explosive. Taurus engages in a brawl with Road Pig, but is mortally wounded by an unseen assault from Buzzer. The Dreadnoks manage to escape with both Dr. Mindbender and Dice recovered.

-Firefly resurfaces. Several GIJoe bases coincidentally are destroyed not long after.
