 It is the year 2037. The world as we know it now is very different in this dark future. The ancient force known as magic has been released in a catastrophic tide that swept across the globe, merging two worlds into one. Deadly dragons rule the skies. Strange monsters terrorize both cities and the countryside. Governments lie in ruins. Mankind has degenerated into warring factions and rival cults, each one vying for control. Nowhere is safe, and hope seems all but lost.
Welcome to New York City. The Cerberus Corporation, once the leading developer of advanced arms technology for military forces throughout the world, was the one responsible for this cataclysmic turn of events. Now this powerful faction holds Manhattan and the outlying boroughs in an iron fist. Janus Couvier, former President of the Cerberus Corporation, has seized control of all New York for himself, with none to oppose him.
Until now. From the shadows and gloom of the forsaken city of gotham appears a lone figure, a woman of tremendous power and the will to face impossible odds. An elf with skin as dark as midnight. Wielding magic combined with lethal combat prowess and deadly weaponry at her command, she is summoned by the Arcanum to do battle against Cerberus and restore order to the Big Apple. Many obstacles stand in her way, but Pandora will meet each challenge head on without fear or hesitation.
And you, the player, will take her into the action every step of the way. Do you dare to answer the call and fight to save the future? The fate of two worlds are now in your hands!
