  Welcome to the Forging of a Legend. 

   Forge of Legends is a pbem set in the Arthurian world. It will have, on top of the usual
  roleplaying, epic battles and land control, as the players will be nobles, and will have to 
  manage their holdings.
   They'll start at the lowest point, but with time they, or their descendants, can become 
  really important for the kingdom.

   It uses the pendragon system, but don't let this fact detract you from participating if you
  don't know it. 
   You only need one thing to be able to play: a commitment to become a legend. 
   Your knight (if you want to play a druid or some other character, we can discuss it) 
  maybe some day will become a legend, or maybe his son...

   This is a long term game, so expect it to last... if your knight dies, his son can 
  take his holdings and weapons and go forth on with the familiar tradition. A childless 
  character can have some younger member of his entourage take his place.
   Characters will begin with a Manor or a banerette, and will be encouraged to expand it 
  having a full fledged barony in 10-20 years, to be able to really influence Britain's story. 

   The story will start at the beginning of the Arthuric saga, in 495, and will last at least till 
  the fall of camelot (570)

   The campaign will follow the events in Arthurian legend, but will be definitively influenced 
  by the players actions. The higher the status, the more impact in the world. 

   The action will begin in Logres, but the characters may get better lands somewhere else...
